Who knew Johnny Depp was related to the Queen of England

According to Nick Barratt, geneologist on the BBC's Who Do You Think You Are? the link between the Queen, 87 and the Actor Johnny Depp,50, date back to Edward III, who died in 1377.
Depp is the 20th cousin of Queen Elizabeth II and both are descendant of Edward III.

The Queen is Edward III 17 time great-granddaughter, one branch of Depp's ancestors hails from yorkshire.

Madonna,55 and Duchess Camilla, and both descended from french-canadians Madeleine Ernard and her carpenter husband Zacharie Cloutier (1617 - 1708).
The genetic connection was first made several years ago by New England Historic Genealogical society in Boston, which also revealed that French-Canadian singer Celine Dion is from the same family.
