Woman in Utah gives birth to 14 pounds baby boy.'Now thats a big baby'

Joel brandon, was born in Utah and weighed a whooping 14 pounds at birth and was delivered by cesarean section with the help of two obstetricians.
Ms Brandon told ksl that on his 4month check up he weighed 23 poundsThe doctor said he will be a normal healthy boy as he grows , that he will probably just be a big guy or tall but he will probably slim down as he gets to his toddler years.

An expert told ABCnews.com that baby Brandon size is likely due to his type 1 diabetes. An interesting effect of insulin, if it's not taken in a sufficient amount, the glucose remains high, and the baby's glucose starts to rise. it's also estimated that the odds of giving birth to a 14- pounds baby are 1 to 100,000.
